Purpose: To Strengthen Home and Family and Defend Freedom --
in Preparation for the Second Coming and Millennial Reign.

A Seminar entitled "...To Prepare My People", will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Logan Tabernacle in Logan, Utah from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (with an optional dinner at the Coppermill Restaurant from 5:45-7:00) for individuals 14 and older. Attire: Nice Dress

Disclaimer: This seminar has been organized by a group of concerned citizens who love the Lord and feel strongly about preserving the family and defending freedom. This is not an LDS church sponsored event and is not endorsed by the church. However, the speakers will be presenting their personal testimonies based on LDS gospel principles and messages will be geared to the LDS audience.

Background for the Seminar

Over the past several years I've attended many seminars and classes on 'Temporal Preparedness'. Heeding that counsel has greatly contributed to my knowledge, understanding, temporal well-being and ... peace. Most of those events focused on physical preparations.

Last October I felt compelled to do something that would focus more on 'Spiritual Preparedness' in the Last Days. What started small has turned into something much larger than myself leading to the feeling that One much wiser has helped in the effort.

We formed a planning committee of like-minded and wonderful souls, who have spent their life's work in studying, preparing, and striving to be obedient to true principles they've learned.

We hope that this event will draw those who are: interested in the signs of the times, aware that things are happening quickly, desirous to be obedient and to bless and help others', and....who want to join together to hear speakers who are willing to share their wisdom.

The reminder is that our "Hope" in these last days is ....capitalized.

"Peace Through Principles"
(Emotional Well-Being Amidst the Storms)

Janet Ashcroft Summit and her husband Don have 10 children and live in Wellsville, Utah. Janet teaches principles about our emotions to many groups as well as individuals. Janet wrote “The Martha Principle,” to explain what we can learn from Martha’s story in the New Testament. She shows how Martha learned that “one needful thing” was to understand her emotions and use them to find peace. Arlene K. Butler

“Preparing and Protecting the Saints in the Last Days”

Arlene K. Butler spent seven years compiling 3 books of quotes from the scriptures, prophets and apostles on last day subjects. She will share what she has learned to help us have a better understanding of prophesied last day events and how we can be prepared. She will discuss warnings, the Lord's timetable, our role in events, Satan's weapons, and safety and protection in the last days.

Twenty years ago while living in California she started researching the last days. This led to the compilation of three large books of quotes from apostles and prophets including scriptures that took seven years to research.

She has taught numerous seminars on emergency preparation and home organization. She is a USU master gardener and field editor for Taste of Home magazine and has won numerous national cooking awards.

Arlene was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, and is married to David; a mechanical design engineer. They have five children and 4 grandchildren.

Farley Anderson

"Hope from the Book of Revelation;
The Last of the Last Days"

Farley Merril Anderson, age fifty-two, lives in the beautiful mountain community of Paradise, Utah . Happily married to his loving and supportive wife, Helen, for over twenty-eight years, he is the father of eleven children. For the past ten years much of his passion and work has centered on the concepts and principles of his book, The Restoration of the Republic.

His previous books are Nature’s Answer- Replenish the Earth, and The Book of Revelation Today. He also scripted and produced a documentary movie about civil defense.

Problems with our current political system were witnessed first-hand as his father, Hartley Anderson, made an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate. Farley has continued on that path and been very active in church, civic, community, and family affairs. He has held many volunteer church positions, especially involving teaching both youth and adults, and has also held many positions within the Boy Scouting organization. He conducted primary agricultural research and was Vice President of a family-owned nutritional products company. Currently he is the President of Liberty and Preparedness, Inc.; a non-profit corporation that promotes public awareness and individual liberty.

In the capacity of author he has delivered more than 100 free lectures in Utah and western states and is a strong advocate for freedom, personal responsibility, and the creative process he believes can preserve American greatness. He has been also been a very popular speaker on the circuit with the National Health Foundation.

His hobbies have included scuba diving, adopting, training and writing about mustang horses, hiking, and enjoying the scenic beauty of America. He is interested in all things historical (especially biographical) and in seeking to understand and incorporate great truths, both political and religious, that are our heritage.

Scott Bradley

"The Lord's Cause of Liberty;

Our Duty in the Last Days"

Scott Bradley and his wife Tamara have five children and five grandchildren.

He is Founder and Chairman of The Constitution Commemoration Foundation, Inc., a non-profit educational organization which seeks to foster increased understanding of the United States Constitution in the tradition of the Founding Fathers, and also encourages a return to the original intent of proper government as understood and practiced at the time of America's founding.

For 16 years he served as an administrator at Utah State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Westminster College, a Masters of Public Administration from Brigham Young University, and a PhD in Constitutional Law from George Wythe University.

In 2006 Scott unsuccessfully ran for the United States Senate, seeking to restore the constitutional moorings of this great nation. For nearly 40 years he has been an avid student of the political foundations of The United States with a focus on History and the Writings of the Founding Fathers of the Nation.

He began and continues to present the annual Cache Valley Utah Commemoration of the Signing of the United States Constitution during the week of 17 September . He is the author of the pageant 'A Day to Remember' which has been performed in past years as part of the Cache Valley Commemoration of the Signing of the United States Constitution

He loves to help young and old alike gain an appreciation for our wonderful heritage of liberty. He is also former Member of the Boy Scouts of America Trapper Trails Council Executive Board.

Scott hosts a weekly talk radio show which is devoted to restoring the nations constitutional foundation. He is also the author of a book and DVD/CD lecture series titled "To Preserve the Nation" (http://www.topreservethenation.com/) in which he reviews the foundation principles upon which this great nation was established, and which he hopes will foster a renewed dedication to those principles.
